Tipton County deputies have arrested a woman for stealing a stash of guns from her ex-boyfriend. On November 6, 2009, deputies with the Tipton County Sheriff's Office received a call about the theft of several weapons from a home in the 7000 block of Highway 179 in Covington, Tennessee.

When the Benton County Commission meets in regular session on Nov. 16 they will consider a resolution to request that the Tennessee State Legislature pass a private act levying a motor vehicle privilege tax be assessed against the citizens of Benton County.
